DETAILS

Premium grade Mexican vanilla beans (also known as grade AA or superior beans) are excellent for use in desserts, savory dishes, specialty drinks, and any recipe that showcases real vanilla. Premium grade beans are free of blemishes and imperfections. They have an extremely high moisture content which means they are brimming with vanilla "caviar." Their powerful aroma will add richness and depth to desserts, confections, and other dishes. They are lovely gift for your foodie friends.

Voladores Vanilla works directly with small producers in the Totonacapan region of Mexico, the birthplace of vanilla, to bring you this sweetly aromatic spice. Each vanilla bean is left to ripen on the vine for nine months in order to achieve maximum vanillin content. The pods are sun-cured for several more months using traditional methods to develop the warm, chocolatey flavors and unmistakable aroma.

These particularly large beans are coated with naturally-occurring vanilla oils that will impart both a distinct aroma and flavor to any recipe.
